The Quality Engineer represents the customer within the organisation in terms of quality.
The Quality Engineer agrees the required quality levels with the customer and ensures that these levels are met.
During the development phase of a product, the Quality Engineer identifies and addresses quality risks to prevent these risks from materialising during the product life cycle.
During the production phase of the life cycle, the Quality Engineer acts as the counterpart of the customer's quality department.
You use commonly applied statistical techniques to measure quality performance and apply known quality methods to prevent problems from recurring.
