The organisation
We are SAAMwerkt! A certified staffing organisation that does things differently in the market. SAAMwerkt! unburdens companies completely in the field of personnel services, staffing, international workers, payrolling, HR support, recruitment and selection and absence management. And in every sector: logistics, green, hospitality, production, cleaning, construction and many more. We don't work with numbers, but with names. SAAMworks! has several houses (number 14) for international employees. Our houses are safe, clean and offer plenty of privacy. Every year, the Standardisation and Flexible Living Foundation (SNF) checks whether our houses meet the standard. We are therefore proud to have the SNF seal of approval.
We also have 20 work cars through which we arrange transport to and from work for our international employees.

What will you do?
Are you a "handy guy" and like a challenging and varied job? Then this position might be for you!

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out daily maintenance and repair work on -and in- our homes by our international staff, including connecting electrical equipment, replacing lamps, replacing sockets to fixing leaks;
  • Unburdening our back office by taking initiative and responsibility in solving malfunctions related to the houses and coming up with improvement plans;
  • Taking meter readings and checking usage;
  • Checking the condition and cleanliness of houses according to our quality requirements and working procedures;
  • Monitor the safety of the houses and report any problems to the back office;
  • Control fleet, track maintenance and safety of cars;
  • Responsible for the warehouse, tracking/recording inventories;
  • You are the eyes and ears of our company.

Do you recognise yourself in this?

You are a perfect fit for the position of House Master if you:

  • You are enthusiastic!
  • In possession of a BE driving licence;
  • Responsible mindset;
  • You have considerable communication skills, are collegial and service-oriented;
  • Skill in using tools and knowledge of basic repairs;
  • Computer literate (Word/ Excel).
