What are you going to do?
As a construction cleaner, you will be responsible for keeping the construction site tidy and clearing materials and waste. You ensure that the workplace is kept clean and safe so that construction workers can work efficiently. You prevent unsafe situations and pay attention to general safety. Your duties include:
- Removal of construction waste and debris from the workplace;
- Sorting and separating different waste materials ( sustainable );
- Cleaning up construction materials and tools after use;
- Assist in loading and unloading materials;
- Maintain cleaning tools and equipment;
- Reporting irregularities or hazards on site to the responsible persons
Do you recognise yourself in this?
You are a perfect fit for this job of construction cleaner if you have good physical fitness and can handle heavy work. You are punctual, organised and can work independently. In addition, you have an eye for detail, enjoy working in a clean environment and are familiar with safety regulations on construction sites. Experience as a construction site cleaner is an advantage, but not required. Motivation and willingness to learn are more important. In addition:
- Are you in possession of a VCA or willing to obtain one;
- Is an advantage if you have a driving licence, but not a requirement
